SAN FRANCISCO CA THE MARINES' MEMORIAL CLUB A LIVING MEMORIAL TO ALL VETERANS
01/10/2011 This is another of Doc & Becky Hemp's Donated Unoffical websites. This one is in support of and
to help publicize this wonderful non profit organization. Our 200+ all non-commercial donated hobby and educational
websites get well over a million visits per year in total as per search engines.
The Marines' Memorial Association, Club and hotel is a non profit veterans organization. It exists
to provide a living memorial to all veterans that serve honorably ... Becky and I have belonged to it for years.
I was a Captain in the USAF 1968 - 1970. It is located one block from Union Square at 609 Sutter Street and
has the best hotel rates in San Francisco for its members. It also has a nice fitness club, wonderful
restaurant on the top floor with a great view of the city. The reasonable rates also include a full
breakfast and a free 3 drink happy hour from 4-6pm.
They also have one of the most complete military libraries in the country. There are banquet rooms,
and an active in house theater with all types of shows. They also provide many programs featuring active
and retired military personel.
The Marines' Memorial Club in S.F. has for sixty four years, stood in honor of the memory of American war heroes.
It provides a sanctuary for those who wish to take a pause and to honor the valor of veterans who were killed
while in military service for their country. They have memorabilia of past conflicts and heroism of all branches
of our services. They also have reciprocation with 190+ other clubs all over the world! All honorable
veterans/spouse can join for only a $100 yearly donation and members can add dependent children over 18
for an additional $20/yr. Active military can join for an annual fee of only $35 donation and stay for
only $69 per night Sunday - Thursday and $89 on weekends.
I have a link to their official site below the photos I have posted from the club's latest magazine
"The Cross Roads".
.. On a lighter note ... If you join be sure to give them my name Carl D Hempe ..
as we will get one free night for every new member we refer. :>) ... The official site linked below
has the complete Cross Roads magazine on it digitally and the application you can print.

Can one donate if they are not a veteran but just a beneficiary of all the good things the vets have done?
If so count me in. That is a great cause.
