I put Wino Willie up because I have always admired
his free spirit! To me it symbolizes the epitome of the freedom the USA
constitution guaranteed for all of us! The bikers world is still a wild & woolly
frontier of freedom who's life style anyone should be able to choose!
I do not support riding intoxicated or doing drugs, but I do support our freedoms, (that are being depleted every time a new law is passed!) Our right to have FUN! To look different without being judged a pathological killer! (agree or die slime sucker! ... not all of us are pathological - hee-hee ... just jokin ....)

"Wino Willie" Forkner, 78 years young - seen here riding his 1927 Harley in La Miranda in April 1997 - died Monday June 23. Willie was to have led 100,000 bikers (Doc & Becky Hemp included in that pack) on a parade through Hollister CA July 4th weekend for the 50th Anniversary of the take-over of that town by 4,000 bikers. It inspired the movie the wild one with Marlon Brando. Willie was also one of the original BOOZE FIGHTERS MC
Have fun on that steel horse in the sky Willie!
Doc Hemp.
Ed Fowler of our Redding HOG was also at Hollister in 1947 on his cousins 46 Indian! He still rides, will probably not be going to Hollister due to his wifes recent illness! So we have our own "Original Wild One"!!!!!! here in Redding CA.
Ed is widely known by everyone in motorcycling - from the Hells Angels, the MMA, the AMA, The Valley Travelers (mostly Goldwings - was president of that in the past) & HOG! Pictured below is a photo of him & the Indian he still has (though modified over the years) that he rode to Hollister in 1947!
