Udate - 6/30/2006 .... Here is a shot of that flat car with Melvin and Ray on it that Melvin lent us to put the ballast in with. This is the one we bought in 6/2006 and refurbished. Little did I know then how a proficient a welder I would become and that I would learn to build steel bridges, switches and use the laser to set grades & weld and build all my own track in place one section at a time starting with Phase #2 of our project.
Now here folks we have a real pair! Both good friends of ours & both from the wrong side of the tracks!! Hee-hee. Terrance Rust (Oral Surgeon) and Ed Bigelow (Orthodontist & neighbor) Riding in to help out on the railroad.
