GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT IS HERE! Four to Five Thousand Grass Roots
Folks (not astroturf!)
Please Read the Narratives Below after the Photos
Another of Dave & Becky's 300+
None Commercial websites getting million + hits/year
1)Taxes are necessary but tax only enough for responsible and fiscal
spending.
2)If every one of us tax paying Americans paid 80% of our taxable incomes
in taxes it still would not be enough to pay back this looming national
debt! WHO WILL BAIL OUT THE GOVERNMENT?
3)Where is the money coming from for national health care? The Government can't even
run the post office, has borrowed Social Security & Medicare bankrupt!
Obomba won't make the right decisions with all his Czars being Left wing Radicals!
4)Now that we have Medicare Beck and have only half the coverage
we did on private insurance. Many doctors will not even take it .. so ..
we are fortunate enough that we can pay for any extra visits or tests we
feel we need. The U.S. treasury can hardly keep this program viable for
those of us over 65 .. so how can it afford the same thing for everyone
from birth to death? Tax credits for our own private insurance carriers
is a viable way for government and the private sector to work together in
a postive and productive way that can sustain its self.
Emergency rooms will always treat those that have to
be seen even if they can't afford it. Here also is a place the government
could subsidize these hospitals which would also be a more reasonable
way to help folks out and keep the hospital's doors open!
5) Time will tell .. and I fear the tipping point is already past, soon
with over 50% not paying any taxes at all and having the voting power to
vote more and more freebees for themselves and the ultra liberal
socialistic agendas that are designed to destroy personal incentives
period!
6)The Democrats controlled congress thru out the past 8 years but .. Bush
did not use his veto pen .. and both the Republicans and democrats spent
like drunken sailors on their pork projects starting us down this debt
ridden path. I think it is time to revolt with our votes by Cleaning
House and Senate. Voting all incumbents out on both sides.
7) This IS indeed grass roots ... Not Fox network or anyone organized this.
I thought we were the only ones shouting at our T.V.s ... I told my wife Becky ..
what we need is another tea party! Then we saw regular Americans like us
protesting this insanity marching with their signs on a news blurb
somewhere. It first started with most of us just deciding to mail tea bags
to D.C. and Sacramento which we did too.
We heard about the Sun Dial bridge thing on our local radio station KQMS
which was the only local media to support this thing!
And The Retched Searchlite our local paper
reported only about 125 showed up .. and the local T.V. station Channel 7
did say there was about 2,500 there ..they were at least half right! but
only showed the small group throwing the tea in the river.

Hello Dave and Becky,
Great photos. Silas Lyons stated today in the editorial section 'a few
hundred' showed up so I'll mention that tomorrow on the show. He hates it
when I do that but I enjoy it...
The fellow that started this protest at the bridge is named Greg Mann.
he came to our show a few months ago with the idea but not sure where
to go with it. He obviously came up with a great idea. Now it is up to
the the people to change things at the voting booth. Lets hope the
momentum builds to do that.

The following news story appeared in the
Victorville Daily Press on August 29, 2009:
SACRAMENTO -- Protesters rallied at the state Capitol on Friday to
oppose rising taxes and regulations that have pushed California's
unemployment rate to among the highest in the country.
The rally underscores the businesses fleeing California for states
with business-friendly policies, less regulation and lower taxes,
according to Mark Meckler, a coordinator with the Tea Party Patriot
organization.
"Our message to the government is clear and simple: We don't need
your help, and we don't need your bailouts," Meckler said in a
statement posted on the group's Web site. "Set us free from
burdensome taxes and regulations and get the hell out of our way.
We're the productive people of the state of California, we're
Americans, we're Tea Party Patriots, and we've had just about all
we're going to take from you!!"
A staffer with the Associated Press' Sacramento office said the AP's
reporters were too busy to cover the event.
An estimated 10,000 attended the rally, according to a news release
from Sen. George Runner, R-Lancaster.
Runner served as a key speaker at the event, along with Republican
Rep. Tom McClintock, Jon Coupal, president of the Howard Jarvis
Taxpayers' Association and others.
The protesters were joined by farmers and small business owners who
have been hit hard by the devastation of Central Valley farmland in
an effort to protect a 2-inch long minnow, according to Runner. Some
Central Valley communities are suffering with 40 percent
unemployment due in part to a judge's decision to divert irrigation
water to protect an endangered fish.
The rally also attracted many truckers who are facing devastating
financial consequences from the Global Warming Solutions Act of
2006, also known as Assembly Bill 32. Some leading scientists say
the law will do nothing to stop global warming but instead costs
$4,000 per California family, $50,000 per small business and a total
loss of business at $180 billion.
"Taxpayers are fed up with near-criminal fiscal mismanagement of our
state," said Coupal in a written statement.
"We are in the midst of a tax revolt we haven't seen since Prop. 13.
Politicians would be wise to take note that taxpayers demand real
solutions to our problems instead of the tired old policies of
higher taxes and more regulation, things which have gotten (us) into
this mess."
