WOW,
I love your sight. I was born and raised in Anderson and went to a lot of rod runs with the Golden Valley Street Rodders through Wally, and Dee Wilson since I was best friends and went to school with there son Alan. I have been living in Missouri for the last ten years and havent been able to visit the Wilsons as I would like, especially since the passing of Wally which was a real tragedy and I wish everybody in the club safe passage to and from your runs. It was really incredible to see the names like Sills and their Caddy, and the Drumms and their Pontiac ( the last time I saw Bill and Laura they were driving a red 34 Cabriolet and I think I was about 14) But its still great to see the new projects. I havent asked Dee Wilson if she still talks to anybody from the club and I really have a tough time getting in touch with Alan. All the experiences with the car club and the people (or I should say family, that's how close everybody seemed) were a great time in my life and I hope to be able to give the same experience to my own family someday.(These old farmers out here dont want to get rid of anything). So in closing, keep me posted on events and even photos when availableIts refreshing to see a little bit of home for a home sick california boy!
