Cow Girls Barrel Racing
This was our German friends first time ever at an American Rodeo ... They were very impressed with the patriotism .... The Red White & Blue parachutist floating down with the huge American Flag making a perfect landing in the center of the arena ... Everyone singing our National Anthem while all the cowboys held the flag! .. Just as we were finishing the National Anthem two F14s roared just over our heads with perfect timing! Then 2 pilots shot down in the Iraq war were on hand to wave to the sold out crowd to a huge roar ... there wasn't a dry eye in the place ... Cow girls carrying the flag ... The announcers and crowd were one as to the dedication of the heartland of America to our commitment to Freedom and it's cost's ... Just the opposite of what we in America hear and see on television most of the time and definitely what the Germans and most of the rest of world see on their T.V.'s! ... We were there on Saturday .... on Sunday there was a huge church service in the arena before the finals .... "In God We Trust" is definitely alive and well in the heart and soul of America ... These German friends left with a whole different attitude on what the REAL AMERICA IS ABOUT!!!!
