This all very large, heavy fully functional custom hand built G Scale 2-6-6-2 locomotive was built originally for our very good friend Mel Nethery by Reggie Layton out of Roseville, CA. Mel has taken ill and had to sell off his fabulous G scale Garden Railroad and collection .. He had over 60 locomotives many worth many thousands each and hundreds of feet of track ... Scale bonsi trees and bushes, indoor and outdoor displays ... He sold me this his favorite and now for display only in a very safe place where it can not be touched in our train room which was designed around this fabulous engine. It will never be for sale! This engine and tender are over 3 feet long.

We got into G Scale before we got big time into our Grand Scale Live Steam B.A.D. Great Northern Railway ... We still have a loop of G scale track on top of our deck out back. I am going to have to hook it back up this spring ...
