Remembers
Lorin H. Tryon

Lorin H. Tryon passed away 2/12/99. Mr. Tryon was the President of the Blackhawk Auto Museum and Co- chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours with Jules Heumann. Lorin and his friend J. Heumann, were also co-recipients of the Meguiar's Hobby Person of the Year Award in 1998.
Becky & I received the bad news when we stopped in at the museum today 2/14/99.
I wish we had had the opportunity to have know this fine gentleman personally, as other friends of ours like Jacques, etc. have. He was a tireless worker for the cause of preserving the history, the art and the automobiles themselves, from the early brass era through the classic era. Probably more so than anyone else in the entire world! Our condolences to his wife Dolores, family and many friends at Blackhawk, Pebble Beach & elsewhere. His great organizational, artistic talents and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all, let alone as such a fine man to his family and friends!

Also, Congratulations to Don Williams the current President of the Blackhawk Museum
